SmithShaper ASR abd SQUATX exercises can be easily customized by your fitness level. For example, beginners may find it difficult to perform an abdominal roll-out with arms fully extended. In order for a beginner to build up to an advanced ab-roll, the beginner or intermediate user can simply place their forearms on top of the device when performing the Ab-roll exercise. You will be surprised how many repetitions you can achieve in this manner. All the while, strengthening your core and abs!


Advanced users, on the other hand, can place free weights on top of the flat surface of the Ab Squat Rider.


The same holds true for many of the other SmithShaper exercses. As another example, an advanced user may consider doing single leg SmithShaper Power squats or SmithShaper Squats using dumbbells, a medicine ball or sand bags for added resistance. Since you can wear the Ab Squat Rider on your back when doing Power Squats, your hands are free.

Ankle, knee, elbow and shoulder injuries are amongst the most common injuries the typical athlete will encounter on their journey. MAXIMIZE YOUR SQUAT REPS WITH THE ASR or SQUATX®

The SmithShaper® Ab Squat Rider is the world's only wearable workout device for perfect posture squats. Squats are the best exercise to strengthen and sculpt lower-body muscles including gluteus (butt muscles) and leg muscles. The Ab Squat Rider rolls against a wall making it easy to use and ideal for targeting quadriceps, hamstrings and gluteus muscles. 


During the SmithShaper Power Squat exercise, the action of the Ab Squat Rider rolling against the wall reduces the load upon the knees. The result is that FAR MORE REPS are possible compared to the same person doing regular squats. SmithShaper “Power Squats” are also safer than regular squats, which can lead to back & knee injuries due to bad form which can occur with fatique. The Ab Squat Rider helps ensure the user remains in good "perfect posture" squat from because the wheels of the device must be engaged against the wall in order to roll. BEGINNERS CAN GET SIX PACK ABS TOO!

Beginners can TRULY & EASILY carve six pack abs. This is because ones forearms can be used when doing AB ROLLS on the Ab Squat Roller and the SQUATX. This isn't very feasible on any other type of single or dual-wheel ab roller, ab wheel, etc.  With the SQUATX / ASR  a strong core or strong shoulders are NOT REQUIRED to immediately start doing ab roll-outs to shape & carve your abs / abdominal muscles.


Beginners will find that it's not only easy to perform the ab roll (abdominal roll-out) exercise on the SQUATX / ASR,  they will also find that their abs are burning immediately afterwards. The only difficulty is working through the ab soreness if you attempt abdominal roll-outs on consecutive days. However, this will immediately help you to realize what we are saying is real. That you can indeed obtain six pack abs by doing ab rolls regularly on the Ab Squat Rider.


As your core and shoulders becomes stronger you can eventually progress to doing ab rolls with only hands on the device and straight arms. You can then alternate between the two methods.  What's great is that even advanced users find that ab roll-outs using forearms provide almost the exact same benefit.  Please share this fact with your friends as well as those who always found it too much of a challenge to use an ab wheel.
